Operations Strategy
Set direction and run day-to-day operations so you're ready to grow.
- Operational priorities and plan
- Department goals and accountability
Hands-on operations leadership to strengthen systems, support teams, and improve execution. We build the processes, workflows, and structure your program runs on, then stay and put the fixes in place alongside your team.
Applications, renewals, audit readiness, and the documentation behind them.
Built from the ground up: structure, workflows, forms, and training.
Choosing, setting up, and getting your team working in the systems.
Processes, staffing structure, new locations. You set the priorities.
All of it fits into any tier. Your hours go where you need them most.
Most programs we meet aren't broken. They're stretched. Choose what's on your plate to see how we'd help.
New hires learn the job from whoever has time that week, and the knowledge walks out the door with each departure.
We build structured onboarding, training, and clear job descriptions, so every new hire learns the same way and knowledge stays with your program, not with one person.
We don't hand over a binder of recommendations. We work alongside your team, build the fix, and make sure it holds after we step back.

Every tier includes review of clinical workflows, documentation, and policies by our licensed clinical partner (LMFT), as needed within your monthly hours.
Every tier is month-to-month, with no long-term commitment. Billed weekly or monthly in advance, whichever works best for you; unused hours do not roll over. Meetings, preparation, and email support count toward included hours. Additional hours are $125, with prior approval.
Each engagement begins with agreed priorities, deliverables, and scheduled availability, and the scope can be adjusted as your needs change. Software, travel, and specialist fees are separate. Clinical and legal decisions remain with qualified professionals.
A starting point for our conversation. We'll shape the final scope together.

We look at how things actually run today and name the few priorities that matter most.

Real work and real results. We build the workflow, write the protocol, and train the team.
Every fix is designed with licensing and documentation requirements in mind, with clinical review by our licensed LMFT.
Respect for the staff doing hard work every day, and for the clients they serve.
A river keeps moving around whatever is in its way.
Riverbend is where Brookelyn's family gathered for reunions when she was growing up in Mississippi. To her it means gathering, roots, and steady movement forward.
That's what we want for every program we work with: a team that comes together, a foundation that holds, and operations that keep flowing even when obstacles show up.
Brookelyn has worked across behavioral health for over a decade, from insurance settings such as UnitedHealth to residential treatment, IOP, and private case management. Throughout, she has led operations and built case management programs from the ground up.
She holds a business degree, with graduate studies in a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Legal Studies in corporate and healthcare administration and compliance.
Julia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (LMFT 163153) and Riverbend's licensed clinical partner. She reviews the clinical workflows, documentation, and policies we build, so every system is clinically sound and practical for the staff who use it. Clinical review is included in every Riverbend tier.
Behavioral health programs of any size and level of care. We usually work with owners, executive directors, and program directors who need operations leadership but aren't ready for, or don't need, a full-time operations hire.
Each tier is a flat monthly retainer: Operations Partner $2,400, Fractional Director of Operations $4,400, and Embedded Director of Operations $6,000. Additional hours are $125, with prior approval.
Yes. Many programs start with focused hands-on work and step up as they grow, or scale back once systems are stable. Every tier is month-to-month, and we review fit regularly.
Operations Partner work is mostly virtual. Fractional Director includes regular onsite visits, and Embedded Director includes regular onsite presence.
Clinical expertise is included. Every tier includes review of clinical workflows, documentation, and policies by our licensed clinical partner (LMFT), as needed within your monthly hours. Clinical decisions always remain with your own licensed professionals.
